Board of Director's Meeting Minutes
A special meeting of the West Park Community Association Board of Directors was called to order on July 16, 2012 at 7:35 pm to address two budget issues. Present were Jim Emery, Dan Clark, Lauren Crum, and Jeff Peters.
Reading of the Minutes of the Last Meeting
Minutes from the June 29, 2012 Board meeting were read by Secretary Dan Clark and a motion was made to accept. The minutes were approved as read.
New Business
The 2012 budget for the fee required by the Commonwealth's Community Interest Board was set at $10.00. However, the actual fee due is $60.00. This is a required expense to comply with Virginia law, so the Board agreed via Board Decision No. 2012_002 to increase the 2012 Common Association Registration budget to $60.00.
The 2012 budget for Website and Email Hosting was set at $100.00. The costs in 2011 exceeded the budget in 2011 by $17.35 and costs for service in 2012 are expected to increase over the 2011 amount. The Board agreed via Board Decision No. 2012_003 to increase the 2012 Website and Email Hosting budget to $150.00 to cover the 2011 carryover amount and the 2012 expenses in this category.
